The Variety Toyota AFL Grand Final Ticket Raffle will commence on Tuesday 29 September at 9:00a.m and close on Sunday 18 October 2020 at 12 noon AEST. The Raffle will be drawn on Sunday 18 October 2020 at 12.30pm. AEST. Drawing of raffle: online draw conducted by Georgie Smith, Brand and Appeals Manager, Variety the Children’s Charity of Victoria, H7 63 Turner st Port Melbourne 3207. This raffle is a game of chance and is randomly drawn using a random number generator facility to ensure a random selection and drawing of the winning raffle ticket [s].
1,000 tickets will be available at a purchase price of AUD$25 per ticket. Tickets are only available for purchase online.
A representative of Variety – the Children’s Charity of Victoria will notify the winners within one working days of the draw. Three call attempts will be made in total, and an email will follow. If the prize is not accepted or claimed by 5:00pm AEST, 22.10.20, the prize will be forfeited by the winner. A redraw will be conducted at 6.00pm AEST 22.10.20 at the same location as the original draw.
Entry is open to all residents of Australia (except those residing in WA, ACT & NT), who are over 18 years of age excluding employees, officers or immediate family members of Variety – the Children’s Charity or other related entity. By purchasing ticket[s], you certify that you are unconditionally authorised and have the capacity to enter this raffle. Tickets are sold in NSW, VIC, TAS, SA and QLD and are not available for purchase outside Australia (or in WA, ACT or NT).
There is no limit to the number of entries per entrant, subject to Raffle Ticket availability.
Recipient of net proceeds of raffle: Variety - the Children’s Charity of Victoria and Variety - the Children’s Charity of Queensland.
The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize. The prize is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. Variety – the Children’s Charity of Victoria, Variety – the Children’s Charity of Queensland and its prize partner will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this competition, the promotion of this competition or the use of any prize.
Variety – the Children’s Charity of Victoria and Variety – the Children’s Charity of Queensland have the right to
i) disqualify any entrant without notice if this Agreement is not complied with;
ii) cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the raffle for any technical reason including but not limited to infection by computer virus, tampering or unauthorised intervention or any cause beyond the control of Variety – the Children’s Charity. For the avoidance of doubt, this right also extends to invalidate any affected entries subject to compliance with the applicable legislation in the relevant jurisdiction;
iii) cancel or amend any aspect of the raffle or the Agreement, subject to complying with any applicable legislation in the relevant jurisdiction; and
The Promoter collects challenge participants’ personal information via the Funraisin fundraising portal and abides by the privacy statement and conditions of data collection set out on Variety and Funraisin website.
