Entry Fees

$880

per car

When you sign up for the Variety Bash, there’s a one-off car entry fee of $880. This locks in your spot on the event and gets your team on the road to Variety Bash glory.

Fundraising Commitment

$5,000 - $7,000

per car

With 2–4 people per car, hitting your fundraising target is a team effort - and we’re here to help you every step of the way. All funds raised go directly to Variety - the Children’s Charity, and the Variety Bash is run by the charity, for the charity.

First-time entrants (Rookies) must raise a minimum of $5,000 per car, and returning entrants, $7,000.

Accommodation

Your Choice

Once the overnight stops are locked in, we’ll share the best local accommodation options in each town. You’ll usually have a choice of hotels, motels, cabins, caravan parks or campgrounds if you’re keen to camp.

It’s up to you to book and pay for your own accommodation, so we recommend getting in early once the itinerary is released - spots can fill up fast!

Meals and Provisions

$950+

per person

You won't go hungry on the Bash! Our team works with local pubs, clubs and community groups along the route to keep you fed and watered - giving regional towns a boost while keeping the crew well looked after.

All your meals, official car decals, nightly entertainment, merch packs and a few Bash surprises are covered by an additional Provisions Levy.

The levy is confirmed about a month before we hit the road and usually ranges between $950 – $1,450 per person (inc. GST) depending on where we're heading.

What you’ll spend on your car depends on how you want to roll. Whether you’re a returning Basher with a rig ready to go, a rookie buying a pre-loved Bash car, or a hands-on type keen to build your own from scratch - costs will vary.
