We’re cooking up another unforgettable road trip for the 2026 Variety Bash — packed with outback tracks, legendary towns, and plenty of Bash magic.
In the meantime, check out the 2025 route below — where we kicked off in Hamilton and made our way north to Darwin, winding through red dirt roads, country pubs, remote schools and some of the most iconic landscapes Australia has to offer. It was a ripper… and 2026 will be even bigger.
Day 1 | Friday 8 August
Hamilton VIC - Adelaide SA
We’re kicking off in Hamilton, a stunning town steeped in history. Day 1 ends with a HUGE National Bash Celebration, uniting participants from across Australia to mark 50 years of Variety changing the lives of kids in need!
Day 2 | Saturday 9 August
Adelaide SA - Flinders Ranges SA
Day 2 starts in the vibrant heart of Adelaide, where history meets modern culture in the city’s lively streets and beautiful parks. We’ll kick off the day with breakfast at Apex Park, right near the beach!
Day 3 | Sunday 10 August
Flinders Ranges SA - Marree SA
We're taking the scenic route! Immersing ourselves in the rugged beauty of the Flinders Ranges, we'll see stunning views of ancient landscapes through the Bunyaroo, Brachina, and Glass Gorge drives.
Day 4 | Monday 11 August
Marree SA - Coober Pedy SA
For Day 4, we’re venturing through Marree, a true outback spectacle, before hitting the Farina ruins along the way. It’s the perfect spot to explore rugged landscapes and historical landmarks!
Day 5 | Tuesday 12 August
Coober Pedy SA - Alice Springs NT
Coober Pedy, the underground town famous for its opals and unique outback vibe.This iconic destination is where motoring meets mining history in the heart of the desert.
Day 6 | Wednesday 13 August
Alice Springs NT
We’re taking a well-deserved rest day together in Alice Springs, allowing for time to explore this vibrant town in the heart of the Outback.
Day 7 | Thursday 14 August
Alice Springs NT - Tennant Creek NT
After taking in the sights and sounds of Alice Springs and celebrating our efforts so far, we'll hit the road again towards Tennant Creek!
Day 8 | Friday 15 August
Tennant Creek NT - Mataranka NT
Tennant Creek offers stunning red-earth landscapes and is a town with a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural significance.
Day 9 | Sat 16 August
Mataranka NT - Adelaide River NT
Today, we'll make a slower start at Mataranka; enough time for a dip in the famous thermal pools and to take in the lush tropical surroundings! It’s the perfect spot to relax and soak in the natural beauty before we continue our adventure.
Day 10 | Sun 17 August
Adelaide River NT - Darwin NT
Our final stop is in Darwin, where we'll come together for the final night celebration. It'll be a fun evening to relax and look back at the incredible adventure of the 2025 Variety Bash.
