We're driving change for kids in need on the Variety Bash - the original outback motoring adventure built on mateship, challenge and making a real difference.

Our crew from 1800 Salvage will be hitting the road in a 1984 Holden Commodore Vacationer, taking on remote tracks and rough roads across regional Australia - all to raise funds for kids who need support.

This isn’t just a road trip - it’s a chance to give back. Along the way, we’ll stop into schools and small towns to deliver grants and equipment directly to the families who need it most. You get to see exactly where your fundraising goes - and the impact it makes.

1800 Salvage has been proudly operating since 2021. What began in a towing depot in Melbourne’s south east has grown into a nationwide vehicle buying service, purchasing all types of vehicles in any condition. 

Our online platform provides quotes within the hour, with all paperwork completed electronically and payments processed instantly. We are committed to ensuring every vehicle is reused or recycled responsibly and sustainably.
