About the Variety Brats Bash
The Variety Brats Bash is a sister event and family-friendly alternative to the Variety Bash, designed with kids of all ages in mind.
Get your family and friends together to share quality time and experience some of the most unique and remote areas of Australia.
Like all Variety motoring events, all funds raised help children living with disability and illness or experiencing disadvantage through the provision of tangible equipment, programs, scholarhsips and events.
The Variety Brats Bash is all about kids helping kids; along the way we stop to present grants to individuals, schools and organisations so your kids can see the direct impact they are making to children and families in need. These moments can be the highlight of the trip and make lifelong memories for all involved.
Costumes and themes are encouraged, along with good spirits and a thirst for adventure. We guarantee there's no other family holiday quite like the Brats Bash!

Requirements
Cars
Any type of car is permitted on the event, providing it complies with the information in the Variety Brats Bash Vehicle Checklist. You don’t need any specific motoring experience to enter, we welcome one and all!
Fundraising
Each team must fundraise a minimum of $750 in the lead up to the event, and we’ll provide lots of tips and tricks along the way to get you over the line. Remember, the sky is the limit! The more we raise, the more support we can provide for kids in need.
Working With Children Check
All entrants aged 18+ are required to hold a valid WWCC. This must be carried throughout the entirity of the event.
Support
Cars
During the event, we have an experienced mechanical assistance team who travel with you, have radio communications and a scout who checks the tracks in advance. Our officials and support team are there to ensure you are safe, and most importantly, there to make sure you have fun!
Fundraising
Once you sign up you’ll receive an information pack full of tips and tricks on fundraising, and our team are at the ready to offer advice and assistance.
Meals & Accomodation
All accommodation is booked in advance on your behalf. This can vary from hotels/motels, bed & breakfasts, cabins, caravans, hostels and camping. The Brats Bash committee and staff arrange to have meals catered by local venues and organisations.
