By taking part in the Variety Brats Bash, you're helping Variety – the Children’s Charity support Victorian kids living with illness, disability or experiencing disadvantage through grants, scholarships, programs and events. Our vision is for all children to attain their full potential, regardless of ability or background.

Your support allows children to gain mobility and freedom, to get out and about in the community, to communicate, achieve independence and increase self-esteem.

Ways Your Fundraising Helps

Individual Grants

We help children and their families facing challenges by giving them access to resources such as mobility equipment, communication devices, learning aids and technology.

Community Grants

We provide grants to organisations that support kids in need, including schools, not-for-profits and community groups. Grants can include educational resources, mobility equipment & technology.

Variety Heart Scholarships

We support children with a demonstrated talent who are living with a disability, chronic illness, or financial hardship, to reach the next stage of development in their field of talent.

Educational Scholarships

We support children who are experiencing disadvantage with assistance to cover basic educational needs such as textbooks, stationery, uniforms, camps and excursions.
