THE IMPACT
Your ride can help create a child’s first ride
A bike is not just a way to get around.
For a child, it can mean independence, confidence, fun and connection. It can mean riding to school, joining family outings, playing with friends and being part of everyday community life.
Through Variety’s Bikes for Kids program, funds raised by Around the Bay riders help provide bikes, helmets and locks to children who may not otherwise have access to their own bike.
Since 2002, Variety’s Bikes for Kids program has supported more than 14,000 Victorian children with bikes, helmets and locks.
