The imaginations of our fundraisers never ceases to amaze us! Whether you want to hold a special event, a challenge, or fundraise on your social media pages, the possibilities are endless. Some of the great ideas our fundraisers have come up with include fun runs, tennis tournaments, paddle races, garage sales, coin collections, fun days out for their friends and special performances. Meet Hayden
Tradie Hayden raised funds for the Variety Bikes for Kids program by tackling a 42.3km trail run in Tarra Bulga... in his work boots! With only seven runs under his belt this year, none exceeding 10km, Hayden's friends and family were eager to support his pursuit and cheer Hayden on, well and truly surpassing his fundraising goal of $1,000! Reflecting on his own childhood joy of biking, Hayden hoped to provide the same experience to less fortunate children. He is now an ambassador for our Bikes for Kids program, continuing to raise funds as part of our generous Variety family.
