Variety Kids' Christmas Party

The enormous smiles, laughter, joy and excitement make this day the most special in our Variety calendar. Held right across Australia, they’re the biggest parties of the year for kids aged 0 to Grade 6 who are living with a disability, illness or experiencing disadvantage. With performing acts, rides, animals, face painting, stage shows, gifts and (of course) Santa, there’s something for every child to enjoy!

This day is truly magical and holds profound significance for the kids who attend. It offers them a break from their everyday challenges and gives them an opportunity to simply have fun and enjoy themselves.

In Victoria, we are proud to host around 5,000 kids, along with their parents and caregivers, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, for this extraordinary event. It's a day filled with warmth, compassion, and shared experiences that create lasting memories for everyone involved.

Variety Dream Days

Over the past few years we’ve held Variety Dream Days at the Melbourne Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary and Puffing Billy Railway. These special days offer kids, who might not otherwise get to experience these iconic destinations, free access and the opportunity to let their hair down and enjoy a day out with their family in an inclusive environment.

Kids' Experiences

We are always excited when opportunities arise for us to be able to invite Variety kids and their families along to special events! Previously this has included Disney on Ice, AFL and NRL games, Circus tickets and Ice Skating… we never know what might be next! We’re thankful to the teams and businesses who give us these tickets which help bring joy to kids.
