Peter Bruce is the Chief Executive Officer of Variety – the Children’s Charity Victoria, where he leads the organisation’s strategy to increase impact for children who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with disability.

Since joining Variety in March 2020 as Head of Finance and Operations, Peter has played a key role in strengthening the organisation’s financial sustainability, governance and operational performance. As CEO, he is focused on growing revenue, expanding partnerships and scaling programs to reach more children and families across Victoria.

Peter brings more than 20 years’ experience across corporate and not-for-profit sectors, including roles in large multinational organisations, social housing and professional services. A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), he has deep expertise in finance, risk management and organisational transformation.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Manchester Metropolitan University and a Master’s in Finance from Queen’s University Belfast.
